Do you remember a particular message that Bishop G.E. Patterson spoke that really touched you or ministered to you and stands out in your mind most. What a great time to share and reflect on the word of GOd as delivered by such a humble and available vessel of God. Thank God for our Bishop, leader and friend. Never forgotten.

I HAVE NO FAVORITES WHEN IT COMES TO HEARING THIS GREAT MAN OF GOD, BECAUSE ALL OF HIS SERMONS ARE A BLESSING AND YOU KNOW THAT THEY ARE LED BY THE FATHER HIMSELF. HIS WORDS AND TEACHING OF THE WORD OF THE SAVIOUR HAS AN EVERLASTING EFFECT ON YOU. WHENEVER HE OPENS HIS MOUTH YOUR HOLY SPIRIT REACTS THIS IS HOW YOU KNOW THIS MAN IS A TRUE MAN OF GOD AND THAT HE DID WHAT GOD TOLD HIM TO DO BY THE POWER OF JESUS CHRIST. HE WALKED, TALKED AND LIVED IN HOLINESS, AND THATS WHAT ALOT OF US NEED TO DO. LIVE BY HIS EXAMPLE. HE WILL BE WELL MISSED BECAUSE I WAIT TO SEE HIM EVERY SUNDAY MORNING. THERE SHOULD BE SOMETHING DEDICATED IN HIS MEMORY IN MEMPHIS. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
I am just now finding out about the passing of Bishop Patterson. Now almost three months after his homegoing. I make it a point every Sunday at twelve to have the Television set to TBN i have a busy 5 year old and can not sit down and watch but just having it on that channel and being able to hear his(Bishop's) voice i felt comforted and blessed. Five and half years ago i was going through something i did not ever see myself coming out of, i was in a battel i could not forsee winning.After visiting several churches and leaving honestly worse then when i came, i resorted to what I call "television church", restlessly flippig through channels I came across a man with a powerful voice, that was "precihing" not instructing but preching!! the Word of God and i knelt down and prayed the prayer he instructed to pray,"prayer of redemption". The holy ghost caught me, and i was immediately delivered from things i had accepted would not change. I am deeply sadened to hear this news,but at the same time i know he is with our Lord so i cry and smile at the same time. I hate to think what would have happened to me spritually and even physically if i had not changed the channel on that Sunday. I thank God for blessing us with Bishop G.E Patterson he was a servant of the Lord that did his job well and i know God is more than pleased with his work because he not only touche my life, but i am certain there were millions more!! Becaue of you Bishop i can say with confidence... Until we meet again.To the Bishops family: Thank you for sharing the Bishop with us, i would love to see you continue his work, my prayers to each and every one of you. God Bles
